Physics Contest- SIN Contest ResultsCongratulations to Abdul-Baith, who was one of the top 200 contestants in the world out of 2307 participants! Justin, Belle, and Louis also scored within the 25th percentile in the world. We are very proud of our physics students. Out of all schools which participated, our average (15%) was over double the average of the country (6.35%) and almost double the average of the world (7.93%).
The Sir Isaac Newton (SIN) Exam is a test of high school physics and is offered by the Department of Physics & Astronomy at the University of Waterloo to encourage the teaching of physics. The test, although challenging, is meant to be refreshing and fun.
